The Russian delegation during a performance at the ongoing Geneva 28th session of the Council of the United Nations on Human Rights criticized racism in the U.S. and the glorification of Nazi collaborators in the European Union and Ukraine.

The Russian Delegation took part in a meeting held on the first day of the week in the evening discussions on the agenda item “Elimination of racism and racial discrimination,” reports UN news agency.
At the meeting the Delegation of the Russian Federation, according to the text of her speech, said that in the United States “Minorities more often become victims of police arbitrariness”.
About this is demonstrated, for example, by a report of the U.S. Department of Justice, that confirmed the presence of signs of systemic racism of the police action in Ferguson, Missouri and also occurred in early March, a new murder by police of African Americans in Los Angeles.
In some EU countries, said the Russian side, “for the past 20 years, thousands of people deprived of their citizenship and, therefore, the major civil rights only on the basis of ethnic origin.”
“Certain political forces, most importantly in the European Union,
in favor of outside interests are trying to revive hateful ideology.”
Every year in several countries in the EU are held marches and rallies of SS Legionnaires, for example, a march of veterans of the Waffen-SS, which again was held on 16 March in Riga. In Lithuania there was held on February 16, torchlight procession nationalists with the open use of the Nazi swastika. In Estonia, the procession of nationalists was organized on February 24. In addition, in Estonia, not so long ago was cynical exposition on the theme of the Holocaust.”
Special indignation, – was noted in the statement, is held on 19 February, the meeting of the Prime Minister of Eastonia (Taavi Rõivas)   with veterans of the 20th Grenadier division of the SS.”

image

Even the memory of those who gave their lives for the Victory over Nazism, are “subjected to constant abuse: in the past, and this year the EU swept a wave of vandalism regarding the monuments and graves of fighters against Nazism.”
In the capital of Russia, it is assumed that underestimating and ignoring tendencies of neo-Nazism, the acquiescence of its spread  “is fraught with the growth of radical extremist movements on the European continent and beyond.

“Witness the events in Ukraine, where Nazi collaborators Bandera, Shukhevych and other defiling himself with the blood of thousands of victims and unleashed the genocide, declared heroes, and the day of creation of the Ukrainian insurgent army* that openly collaborated with the Nazis and committed the worst lawlessness in the war, declared a national holiday.”

As stressed by the Delegation of the Russian Federation, “Today in Ukraine neo-Nazism becomes in fact the main state ideology, and the indulgence of this trend increases the probability of bringing to serious consequences.”
At the end of December 2014 Committee of the General Assembly of the United Nations social and humanitarian problems was presented by the Russian resolution,

calling to effectively combat the glorification of Nazism and other forms of racial discrimination, xenophobia and intolerance. (115 out of 193 UN-member countries voted for the draft resolution proposed by Russia)
Explaining the decision of the U.S. delegation that voted against the decision, the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs- Gennady Gatilov said that Washington did it for political reasons. However, in Europe itself, there is no unanimity as to the theme of the glorification of Nazism. So, in January, Ukrainian nationalists wrote to the President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman a letter in which he defended the Bandera and Shukhevych. The letter was written in response to the message of the President of the Czech Republic that he refuses to congratulate Ukraine with such heroes. In response to this letter Zeman said that what Bandera was planning to do in Ukraine make a puppet Nazi state.” Are you aware Of the words Bandera: “I will Kill every Pole from 16 to 60 years?” If you have not heard about these words of Bandera), then no you are not a Ukrainian. But If you know about this statement (Bandera), then you agree with him or not? If you agree, then our discussion is over,” wrote Zeman.
Recall that Bandera was sitting in a Polish prison for a triple murder. Zeman said before that torchlight procession on 1 January in Kiev in honor of the birthday of Stepan Bandera was organized exactly the same as marches were organized by the Nazis during the years of Nazi Germany.” We emphasize that consistently earning Bandera, Petliura, Mazepa, the Ukrainian government could not come to a natural end, – the justification of Hitler and the transformation of Germany into an innocent victim of “Soviet aggression”, And not the country that started the war. In the end, fresh Ukrainian authorities in fact conducted a campaign on the glorification of Nazism and the revision of the history of the world. So, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk first subjected to prosecution of the Russian Federation in the aggression against Germany and Ukraine in the same sentence with a statement about the illegality of rewriting the results of the Second World War.

Europe’s Stolen Voice PACE’s Lack of Common Sense and Cynicism are Largely the Result of US Pressure-Sergey Naryshkin

Prologue
In the recent state of the union address, obama made claim to having left in tatters the Russian economy. This served as the mantlepiece of his regimes accomplishments and was the focus of western media review of his speech. Previous to obamas boast, his underling biden had spoken of having to apply pressure to reluctant european governments in order to impose sanctions on Russia. The stated goal of US FP is to isolate the worlds largest country and 8th largest economy. There remains few who deny that the US government, agents, NGOs, and controlled financial networks were not responsible for the coup ‘d eat in Ukraine (Feb. 2014). The fact that this constitutes unlawful violation of a host of international laws and treaties appears to be of no concern to those who have condemned Russia for so called aggression. The reunification of Crimea and Sevastopol to Russia has frustrated US designs and set into motion a series of measures designed to make Russia pay the consequences for maintaining the peace on a peninsula which has historicaly been the scene of epic battles and great sacrifice. Apparently the masterminds who plotted the coup were under the assumption that Russia would vacate their Black Sea Fleet HQ and turn the keys over to NATO. The coup in Kiev was illegal and brought to power at the barrel of a gun. The threatening nature of this band of thugs and extremists which served as washingtons tool caused shock and alarm to Crimeas inhabitants as well as Russian speaking people throughout SE Ukraine. Odessa Trade Union Building 2 May 2014 became the defining moment for citizens to take action in order to save their families lives from the murders and mayhem which occured there. The events concerning this cruel act of barbarity went largely unnoticed in the west. Kievs claim of investigation is belied by the widespread celebrations that ensued during as well as after by Ukrainian political figures and general public. Petro poroshenko even used a scene from the burning building in a political advertisement for his election. The murders of at least 48 people were viewed as a victory.
Proclaiming death to Russians and referring to them as sub-human, the first act of the newly installed Rada was to make the Russian language illegal. Even now the fact that over 800,000 Ukrainian citizens have fled their country and sought safety in Russia goes unreported because it undercuts the false narrative of the Russian aggression mantra being systematicly conveyed in every newspaper on every television and in every opinion column throughout western media.

The following is a speech given by Sergey Naryshkin State Duma Speaker and envoy to PACE (Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe)

Speaker of the State Duma Sergey Naryshkin. “Europe’s stolen voice. PACE’s lack of common sense and cynicism are largely the result of US pressure”

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has just completed its regular session. Of the many issues on the agenda, the voting rights of the Russian delegation was definitely the most salient. It lurked just beneath the surface and came up in all discussions – from the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz–Birkenau concentration camp to the report on the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine – proving once again that not a single major challenge currently facing Europe can be addressed without Russia’s active participation. The Russian delegation worked hard throughout the session, and not only during plenary meetings. On the eve of the start of the session, we attended yet another meeting (the third in the last six months) of PACE’s Presidential Committee.
Most of its members favoured restoring Russia’s voting rights, but they were ultimately unable to get this message across to the Assembly, which remains under the sway of frantic, rabid anti-Russian propaganda disseminated by a group of aggressive Russophobes. This determined the outcome of the vote on the powers of the Russian delegation. Stefan Schennach, Chairperson of the Monitoring Committee, one of PACE’s most influential committees, later openly called the result “stupid” and the pressure against Russia “senseless.” However, the grim business had already been taken care of. I should add that I was the only speaker of a national parliament in attendance. During the plenary meetings, I could not help thinking that I was witnessing something genuinely absurd, incompatible with elementary logic and the natural human desire for peace and prosperity for one’s people and family. This lack of common sense and cynicism are largely the result of pressure from the US, which openly acts as an aggressor seeking to repartition the world. But European politicians and parliamentarians have made it easier in recent years for the US to act in such an arrogant manner.
Ten days before the Russian delegation arrived in Strasbourg, a paragraph was added to the resolution of the European Parliament, which read “closer EU-US cooperation in Ukraine-related policies would be beneficial.” A more candid acknowledgement of this pathological dependency is hard to imagine. The months of criminal silence regarding the humanitarian crisis in the southeast of Ukraine are a vivid example of double standards. The State Duma issued a special declaration back in May 2014, calling on all European parliamentarians to pay attention to the crisis and put an end to it, which apparently fell on deaf ears. In my opinion, the reason is that this would have entailed acknowledging the root cause. Our foreign colleagues eschewed this sensitive issue at the first two meetings of PACE’s Presidential Committee, despite declaring that they are open to dialogue. It was at this January session of the Assembly that speakers started mentioning the horrible figures reported by the UN, and made a big deal of the unprecedented number of refugees. But did all this wailing amount to anything? Of course not. There were no decisions to provide immediate assistance or demands that the Ukrainian authorities hold the real culprits accountable. Human rights-based approaches immediately devolved into empty declarations. Moreover, blatant lies about the developments in Donbas went hand in hand with accusations against Russia, which is not a party to the conflict. Even when PACE learned that 800,000 Ukrainians had fled to Russia in less than a year, they didn’t care enough to acknowledge that these people are seeking refuge in our country from the deadly threat posed by the Ukrainian military. People tend to flee enemies and turn to friends for protection. In another appalling episode, the Russian delegation wasn’t permitted to make a statement during a session on the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, under the pretext that the programme was already set (such worthless references to protocol have become the typical response to any internal issue within PACE). Russia, the direct successor of the state that liberated the camp, was not allowed to speak on the occasion. I didn’t see any signs of shame in the expressions of PACE bureau members. The liberators weren’t even mentioned during the session.
Not a single word! The President of the Assembly couldn’t find space for it in her opening remarks, which were quite lengthy. The other two speakers, a former prisoner of the concentration camp and a representative of a youth organisation, also failed to mention it. It was as if the surviving prisoners were saved from death by some kind of miracle, not the courage and sacrifice of Soviet soldiers. Not a single word of praise was addressed to the country that sacrificed 27 million lives to win the war! In the end, the celebration by PACE of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz left us with a strange feeling and, to put it bluntly, a bad taste in the mouth. PACE’s reputation as a common European platform for dialogue is rapidly waning. Today members of national delegations are being attacked at its doors (which happened to our colleagues from KPRF); tomorrow the same could happen in the plenary hall. The number of fringe politicians is growing, while the leadership of the Council of Europe is not willing to respond to their actions in an adequate manner. Despite all this, our interactions with the heads of the Assembly’s political groups, within its Presidential Committee and during their increasingly frequent visits to Moscow, have borne some fruit. This could be clearly seen during the roundtable discussion on the crisis of confidence, which we initiated in the Council of Europe.
Most speakers emphasised that dialogue is needed during crises like never before. Such a prominent politician as former PACE President Rene van der Linden forcefully insisted “that all be ensured the right to speak and fully carry out their work without seeking to impress ‘neighbours of our neighbours.’” Dividing lines have resurfaced, but it will be impossible to ensure European security, including in Ukraine, without Russia, he said. To be honest, the sincere words I heard from many foreign colleagues made me wonder why the Assembly is still dominated by a majority that is at once aggressive and obedient. Why does the majority fail to heed the voices of other colleagues or the voice of reason? Maybe Andreas Gross, the leader of one of the political groups, was right when he said that trust in Europe doesn’t need to be restored, but rather built, because there was never any trust to begin with. I think he’s right, but not entirely, as Russia has been sincere and open about its intentions to meet Europe halfway. And I don’t think that we were alone in this aspiration. Unfortunately, the events of recent months have forced us to rethink many things, including whether many of Russia’s partners – who chose to tether European policy to another continent – are reliable. It was a strange choice, to say the least: Europe is far from a novice in geopolitics, and at various times has strongly asserted its right to independence. Perhaps the turning point came several decades ago, when Europe opened its doors to US military bases, which are only formally affiliated with NATO, as the United States accounts for two thirds of NATO’s budget, according to experts.
Today, European leaders are urged to sign onto illegal anti-Russian sanctions. A year ago, European foreign ministers guaranteed with their signatures an agreement between the legitimate, elected president of Ukraine and the opposition, and then refused to implement it. Essentially, they signed off on the bloodshed on Maidan Square, in Odessa and in eastern Ukraine. To our great regret, they were quick to shelve the project to build a Greater Europe, along with efforts toward visa-free travel and other important arrangements. Were the two decades of sincere cooperation between Russia and Europe no more than a game rigged in one team’s favour? Nevertheless, I remain optimistic. Great achievements are always borne of great challenges. Russia has seen so many that we know all too well that it is impossible to alter history with lies and distortion. I’m confident that security on the continent has not become an empty phrase for responsible European politicians.
The parliamentary systems of these countries date back many centuries, and no procedural manoeuvring, disregard for international law or doublespeak can destroy these age-old values. Even during this extremely difficult PACE session, we clearly saw a growing recognition that there is no alternative to working with Russia, which is a European nation by virtue of geography and culture. Reason will prevail in the end.

Strategic bombers Tu-160 and Tu-95MS will be flown along the borders of Russia over the Arctic, Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans, providing military parity with the United States. This was recently announced by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, which aroused a storm of indignation in Washington and Brussels confident that the situation is “not justified” numerous flights of Russian strategic bombers regularly patrol remote areas of the planet.

Habitat

“Implementation of the crews flying over the Pacific, Atlantic and Arctic Ocean is considered natural for training pilots of strategic aviation work” – said the TV channel Star former commander of long-range aviation and a former Air Force Commander Peter Deinekin. – “In its duration and distance they are fully in line with those of the strategic bombers United States.” Therefore, the general did not see any problems that our missile went back to the traditional routes of the combat patrol.

“We have always shown their abilities to those who provoke us to all sorts of conflicts, – says Deinekin. – The crew of long-range aircraft, which I commanded, from the beginning of the “cold war” is constantly operating at reconnaissance aircraft carrier battle compounds USA. We drifted to the Faroe Islands in the west to the Philippines in the Pacific Ocean. In recent years, such operations for economic reasons was not done,  and the Americans have forgotten that we can still do.”

The General said, “flying around the corner,” as they call these pilots flying long-range aircraft, our Air Force began in the 80s of the last century in response to the deployment of US cruise missiles, long-range in northern Italy, southern Germany, and England. Takeoff from “Engels” near Saratov, our Tu-95MS (NATO members call him “Bear”) and Tu-160 (NATO classification in “Black Jack”, and we call this plane “White Swan”) can easily reach the coast of the US, Great Britain, suddenly find themselves in the Indian Ocean off the coast or Australia.
Under them were specially made by the so-called airfields “jump” intermediate base, where the crew can relax, technical services refuel, conduct maintenance of machinery. Today some of these airfields: near Vorkuta, Vladivostok, Belarus Baranovichi on Kant air base in Kyrgyzstan. Was tested the possibility of basing the Tu-160 in Venezuela. These sites allow aircraft to fly from our borders to 12 thousand kilometers, and even further.

“To fly to the United States ten, but even with two aerial refueling machine may just half an hour to be in close proximity to the coast of America, – says Peter Deinekin. – The appearance of our home bases in Latin America allows our aircraft to be  in close proximity to the United States indefinitely. And Americans, of course, do not like.”

On the edge of Europe

Subject border patrols military aircraft lifted last month on a regular basis, mainly in response to complaints from Western governments on Russian warplanes.

November 3 Commander of NATO forces in Europe, US Gen. Philip Breedlove said the growth activity of the Russian Air Force, stressing that the Russian aviation supposedly uses a more sophisticated combat system and an increasing number of planes and flies a little further than usual.

The representative of the US Department of State- Jen Psaki said that Russia has no need to increase the scale of training flights. She noted that the US authorities understand the need for training work in the armed forces. Nevertheless, she said, “we do not see that the security situation justify such activities.”

And together in NATO, according to sources, the newspaper Die Welt, said that “the Russian check our airspace throughout the year”. A NATO spokesman said on the “Voice of America” that “the intensity of these provocative flights higher than the height of the cold war. So last Sunday a few strategic bombers Tu-95 and Tu-22 were identified by the national armed forces of Latvia over the neutral waters of the Baltic sea, close to the outer border of the Latvian territorial waters, – with alarm reported by the press center of the Latvian army.

Bombers Tu-95MS and Tu-160 is the main reserve of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief in case of nuclear war. In the structure of launch on warning, counter-nuclear strike they were assigned the role of “killer cells” that make the “control head” after the impact of the strategic missile forces and strategic nuclear submarines. Air missile “off” survivor military infrastructure of the enemy. However, they could be used also as  the main percussive tool. The coordinates of the ground-based missile launchers known to the adversary. It is easy to track a strategic submarine in the ocean. But to understand where strategic bombers, almost impossible.
Onboard each machine – deadly arsenal: guided aerial bombs and cruise missiles and long-range. For example, the newest cruise missile Kh-555. According to some, their range is about 3.5 thousand kilometers. In flight, the machine not only changes the height, but may fly above the earth’s surface, around the terrain. Against her powerless not only modern anti-aircraft missile systems, but also created the American NMD. At the target the missile displays the homing head that retrieves data from it’s own opto-electronic, and multi-channel satellite navigation system GLONASS. The accuracy of hitting the target, plus or minus a few inches. Vladimir Putin was present at one of the final stages of testing X-555. The four released with bomber missile accurately hit the “window” of an abandoned home on the range “Pemba” under the Vorkuta, where the script was hiding terrorists.

Recently it was announced that from 2016 all Russian Tu-160 is equipped with upgraded turbojet engines of the type NK-32. Production of these engines was discontinued in 1993. The resumption of their production means that the Tu-160 will be the main striking force of strategic aviation in Russia for a long time.

According to the plans, each of the 66 heavy bombers Tu-160 and Tu-95 will get new management systems, navigation and sighting systems. This will allow machines to apply not only to new strategic cruise missiles, long-range Kh-555, but any other precision-guided bombs and missiles. And this, in turn, will give the opportunity to bring the bombers to solve not only the problems of nuclear deterrence, but also the application of missile attacks by conventional means.

Strategic stimulus

Constant combat duty long-range aviation aircraft Russia has decided to resume in 2007. From this moment, says General Deinekin, our aircraft has completed over several hundred sorties in remote regions of the world in terms of tactical anti-aircraft neighboring countries”. For comparison, in the period of greatest activity of our strategic aviation in the Soviet period 1985-1987 years of such flights was 170.

The patrol pilots learn not only how to navigate in unfamiliar airspace, refuel in the air, but also conduct electronic reconnaissance and practice the use of weapons (planes fly without missiles, but the goals are fixed radars, their coordinates are entered into the onboard computer). Plaque pilots increased from 40 to 140 hours per year. It is almost comparable with a touch of Americans – 180 hours.

Russia also may not like the fact that the American strategic bombers B-52 are in constant readiness for combat use,” explains General Deinekin. According to him, recently, the Americans threw six B-52 at Andersen air force base on GUAM. This is one of the four positions of the strategic bombers of the U.S. air force. The location of the database provides direct support to the crews of bombers to deploy forces in Europe, Southwest Asia and Pacific region. Andersen is one of the two most important U.S. military bases in the Asia-Pacific region. Another island of Diego Garcia in the Indian ocean.

image

“From a military point of view, the Americans are well aware, in any point of our bombers go on combat patrols, ” says General Deinekin. – Didn’t have time to turn their planes take positions on either side of us. Lead, pass each other on the chain. So something extraordinary in the words of Shoigu no,” said the General. Another thing is that due to aggravation of Russian-American relations is presented as something beyond. Especially because in recent years the Americans believed that Russia has lost the ability to perform such a long and difficult journeys, and because of “old age” aircraft is not able to reach the shores of America. Time has shown that this view was erroneous. “White Swans” and “Bears” again forced to remember that Russia has its own interests in the field of security in the world.

What was the beginning of the strategic aviation

The appearance of distant strategic aviation in its current form, Russia is obliged US. Atomic bombing of the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, in early 1946, the U.S. army strategic air command (SAC) demanded that the USSR develop adequate measures. April 3, 1946 resolution of the USSR Council of Ministers was established long-range aviation of the Armed Forces composed of three air armies, control of which was based in Smolensk, Vinnitsa and Khabarovsk. In 1947, in the far aviation has come a strategic bomber Tu-4, Arsenal which has nuclear weapons.

However, the main combat power and the takeoff of strategic aviation occurred in the 70-80-ies of the twentieth century. Then armed with entered combat aircraft, Tu-22M, Tu-95MS, Tu-160. It is today the burden of nuclear deterrence of potential adversary. Armed cruise missiles, long-range strategic bombers capable of inflicting powerful blows on any point of the globe both nuclear and conventional munitions. For example, the Tu-22M very effectively in the Afghan war.

The aircraft up to 12,000 kg payload. The Tu-95MS she was introduced to free-fall bombs caliber from 1500 to 9000 kg, both high explosive and nuclear, suspended in the fuselage compartment. Tu-V took under the fuselage (dimensions not allowed to be placed in the compartment) tactical nuclear bombs with a capacity of 20 and 50 megatons, weighing up to 22 tons. Also provided for the suspension of the bomb with a capacity of 100 MT. The missile can also take on ventral suspension 2 containers for small calibre bombs. Can carry cruise missiles, long-range Kh-55 (nuclear) and Kh-555. Defensive armament Tu-95MS consists of 2 twin 23-mm twin cannon GSH-23L gun placed in the aft defensive installation. Ammo – 2500 shots.

Now the modernization of Tu-95MS to version Tu-MM. The replacement will be subject to electronic equipment. The bombers will have a new sighting and navigation system, which will allow you to use the new strategic cruise missiles X-101. Will also appear navigation system GLONASS. It is planned to upgrade a few dozen bombers, and the other to cheat. Modernization is designed to extend the life of the aircraft until 2025.

TY-160 adopted in 1987, released 15 pieces. Wingspan – 55.7/35.6 m Length – 54.1 m Height of 13.1 m wing Area of 232 sq m Maximum speed at an altitude of 2000 km/h Range with maximum bomb load: 10 a 500 km flight Duration 15 hours a Crew of 4 people. This is the most powerful aircraft in the world. On Board can accommodate 12 cruise missiles with nuclear warheads or bomb weapon weighing up to 40 tons. By the beginning of 1994 was released about 30 aircraft (at the beginning of 1993 19 aircraft were based in Ukraine). The bomber is equipped with a bed, toilet, and electronic device for heating food. Structurally, the Tu-160 is close to American strategic bomber B-1, but unlike it all the combat burden is on the inner gimbal. On the basis of Tu-160 Tupolev Design Bureau is currently developing advanced Russian bombers of the fifth generation.

A Plea for Caution From Russia By VLADIMIR V. PUTIN SEPTEMBER 11, 2013

A Plea for Caution From Russia
By VLADIMIR V. PUTIN
SEPTEMBER 11, 2013

MOSCOW — RECENT events surrounding Syria have prompted me to speak directly to the American people and their political leaders. It is important to do so at a time of insufficient communication between our societies.

Relations between us have passed through different stages. We stood against each other during the cold war. But we were also allies once, and defeated the Nazis together. The universal international organization — the United Nations — was then established to prevent such devastation from ever happening again.

The United Nations’ founders understood that decisions affecting war and peace should happen only by consensus, and with America’s consent the veto by Security Council permanent members was enshrined in the United Nations Charter. The profound wisdom of this has underpinned the stability of international relations for decades.

No one wants the United Nations to suffer the fate of the League of Nations, which collapsed because it lacked real leverage. This is possible if influential countries bypass the United Nations and take military action without Security Council authorization.

The potential strike by the United States against Syria, despite strong opposition from many countries and major political and religious leaders, including the pope, will result in more innocent victims and escalation, potentially spreading the conflict far beyond Syria’s borders. A strike would increase violence and unleash a new wave of terrorism. It could undermine multilateral efforts to resolve the Iranian nuclear problem and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and further destabilize the Middle East and North Africa. It could throw the entire system of international law and order out of balance.

Syria is not witnessing a battle for democracy, but an armed conflict between government and opposition in a multireligious country. There are few champions of democracy in Syria. But there are more than enough Qaeda fighters and extremists of all stripes battling the government. The United States State Department has designated Al Nusra Front and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, fighting with the opposition, as terrorist organizations. This internal conflict, fueled by foreign weapons supplied to the opposition, is one of the bloodiest in the world.

Mercenaries from Arab countries fighting there, and hundreds of militants from Western countries and even Russia, are an issue of our deep concern. Might they not return to our countries with experience acquired in Syria? After all, after fighting in Libya, extremists moved on to Mali. This threatens us all.

From the outset, Russia has advocated peaceful dialogue enabling Syrians to develop a compromise plan for their own future. We are not protecting the Syrian government, but international law. We need to use the United Nations Security Council and believe that preserving law and order in today’s complex and turbulent world is one of the few ways to keep international relations from sliding into chaos. The law is still the law, and we must follow it whether we like it or not. Under current international law, force is permitted only in self-defense or by the decision of the Security Council. Anything else is unacceptable under the United Nations Charter and would constitute an act of aggression.

No one doubts that poison gas was used in Syria. But there is every reason to believe it was used not by the Syrian Army, but by opposition forces, to provoke intervention by their powerful foreign patrons, who would be siding with the fundamentalists. Reports that militants are preparing another attack — this time against Israel — cannot be ignored.

It is alarming that military intervention in internal conflicts in foreign countries has become commonplace for the United States. Is it in America’s long-term interest? I doubt it. Millions around the world increasingly see America not as a model of democracy but as relying solely on brute force, cobbling coalitions together under the slogan “you’re either with us or against us.”

But force has proved ineffective and pointless. Afghanistan is reeling, and no one can say what will happen after international forces withdraw. Libya is divided into tribes and clans. In Iraq the civil war continues, with dozens killed each day. In the United States, many draw an analogy between Iraq and Syria, and ask why their government would want to repeat recent mistakes.

No matter how targeted the strikes or how sophisticated the weapons, civilian casualties are inevitable, including the elderly and children, whom the strikes are meant to protect.

The world reacts by asking: if you cannot count on international law, then you must find other ways to ensure your security. Thus a growing number of countries seek to acquire weapons of mass destruction. This is logical: if you have the bomb, no one will touch you. We are left with talk of the need to strengthen nonproliferation, when in reality this is being eroded.

We must stop using the language of force and return to the path of civilized diplomatic and political settlement.

A new opportunity to avoid military action has emerged in the past few days. The United States, Russia and all members of the international community must take advantage of the Syrian government’s willingness to place its chemical arsenal under international control for subsequent destruction. Judging by the statements of President Obama, the United States sees this as an alternative to military action.

I welcome the president’s interest in continuing the dialogue with Russia on Syria. We must work together to keep this hope alive, as we agreed to at the Group of 8 meeting in Lough Erne in Northern Ireland in June, and steer the discussion back toward negotiations.

If we can avoid force against Syria, this will improve the atmosphere in international affairs and strengthen mutual trust. It will be our shared success and open the door to cooperation on other critical issues.

My working and personal relationship with President Obama is marked by growing trust. I appreciate this. I carefully studied his address to the nation on Tuesday. And I would rather disagree with a case he made on American exceptionalism, stating that the United States’ policy is “what makes America different. It’s what makes us exceptional.” It is extremely dangerous to encourage people to see themselves as exceptional, whatever the motivation. There are big countries and small countries, rich and poor, those with long democratic traditions and those still finding their way to democracy. Their policies differ, too. We are all different, but when we ask for the Lord’s blessings, we must not forget that God created us equal.

Moscow calls on OSCE to be responsible for probe into crimes in Ukraine

Moscow calls on OSCE to be responsible for probe into crimes in Ukraine – Russian diplomat

“All the parties should observe the Minsk agreements, fixed in the Protocol of September 5 and Memorandum of September 19”, Russia’s Ambassador to OSCE Andrei Kelin said

MOSCOW, October 11. /TASS/. Moscow is calling on the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to undertake responsibility for investigations in crimes committed in Ukraine, and not just to observe what Kiev is doing or not for that, Russia’s Ambassador to OSCE told a meeting of Organisation’s Permanent Council on Saturday.
The shelling is less intensive, “but it continues.”
“Civilians are being killed in Donetsk, Lugansk, Gorlovka, in other cities and villages in Ukraine’s east,” he said.
“This grave violation of the international humanitarian law should be stopped.”
“The amount of crimes is increasing,” the diplomat continued. “This is also mentioned in the latest report of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. Some provisions of the report reflect the alarming situation in that country.”
“Those are first of all the proofs of mass violations of the international humanitarian law and the human rights by Ukrainian military and the many battalions like Aidar, Azov, Dnepr, Kiev-1 and Kiev-2.”
“Those are of killings, torture, kidnapping, arbitrary detention, sexual violence and other serious crimes,” he said. “UN observers report the growing numbers of killed civilians, including children, in the non-selective shelling the Ukrainian military deliver on houses.”
The reports points to no results of probes into the mass killing in Maidan (Kiev’s Independence Square), in Odessa and Mariupol, to victims in the crash of Malaysia’s Boeing.
“Despite the measures Kiev is declaring, there are still no results of independent investigations,” he said. “Moreover, the document reads the Ukrainian investigators have been falsifying or destroying the proofs – first of all the bullets used in the clashes in Maidan.”
Russia hopes next reports “will reflect new evidences of the crimes committed by the Ukrainian military, including information about mass graves of civilians found in the Donetsk region.”
The ambassador pointed to the problems with the exchange of detained persons.
“Unacceptable are the attempts to hide proofs of inhuman treating prisoners, to “get” the required numbers of people to be exchanged by organising new arrests on suspicion of “sympathy for separatists”.”
“It is important that international organisations, including OSCE, are not only observing what the Ukrainian authorities are doing or not doing, but undertake responsibility for impartial and just investigations,” the Russian diplomat said. “It is already high time to stop accusing of everything the militia and to be excusing the Ukrainian law enforcers at the same time.”
Also Kelin said, that supporting Kiev’s “party of war” is a way to catastrophe, past visits of the U.S. emissaries were followed by escalation of violence, by active punitive operations. We hope, this time Washington’s instructions are aimed at support of the peace process
“The major task now is to favour by all possible means stopping violence in Ukraine,” he said. “All the parties should observe the Minsk agreements, fixed in the Protocol of September 5 and Memorandum of September 19.”
“This is a base for transition for the national, open dialogue featuring all regions and political forces,” he said. “By only reaching national peace could be possible firm stable situation in Ukraine.”
Any calls for resuming the military operation, especially on the eve of the upcoming parliamentary elections, support in any form of the “party of war” are ways to catastrophe, the ambassador said.
“We could not leave unnoticed the meetings in Kiev (of the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State) Victoria Nuland. Past visits of American emissaries to Ukraine, as a rule, were followed by escalation of violence, by active punitive operations. We hope, this time Washington’s instructions are aimed at support of the peace process.”
The alarming events in Ukraine, he said, “are on the background of the endless anti-Russian hysteria.”
“We have seen clearly, this line has been supported actively and even inspired from the outside,” he said. “All factors, which are inconvenient for Kiev, are announced “Russian propaganda”.”
Moscow reiterates the call “for directing efforts on support of peace processes in Ukraine.”
“Ceasefire in the country’s east should be irreversible,” the diplomat said. “It is the key precondition for stable settlement, for development of the Ukrainian national dialogue, for national peace.
Moscow is alarmed at statements from some Ukrainian officials, claiming following the lustration may come political murders.
“Punishers of the Azov battalion, who are declaring openly their Nazi views and are using Nazi symbols, now are in the avant-garde of “fighting monuments”,” he said.
“Now desecrated is the monument to victims of the Holocaust in Odessa. Odessa’s Jewish community reports extremists have beaten up over 20 Jews last month.”
“Attacked and beaten up severely was MP Nestor Schufrich. Nationalists throw into waste bins officials and candidates for parliament deputies.”
“Those must be the democratic inventions of the Ukrainian extremists, which, in their opinion, fit well the high “European standards”,” he said.
“Alarming is that some officials [Igor Kolomoisky’s assistant Boris Filatov] have declared already that following the “waste bin lustration” will come the time of political murders,” the Russian ambassador said.
“Extremely alarming are the methods Ukraine’s Security Service is using jointly with radical groups in fighting dissent (the UN report mentions 1,000 detained on charges of “subversive activities.”).”
There is a clear tendency radical elements, including activists of punitive battalions, are getting to the power by means of participating in the parliamentary elections, the Russian diplomat said.

Russia Forced To Take Countermeasures In Response To New Sanctions

ITAR-TASS: World – Russia ready to take countermeasures in retaliatory to West’s sanctions

TULA, September 01./ITAR-TASS/. Russia will take countermeasures in retaliatory to the West’s new sanctions, Federation Council (upper house) chairperson Valentina Matviyenko said on Monday.

“We have serious steps and countermeasures if the spiral of sanctions is widen,” she said, adding that Russia did not support such measures.
However, she said if Western politicians forced Russia to take retaliatory measures “it will be a hell to pay”.
“The EU rhetoric changed” after Russia banned imports of beef, pork, poultry, fish, cheese, dairy products, fruit and vegetables from Australia, Canada, Norway, the US and the EU for one year on August 7.

“The aid to Serbia is organized by the Russian Ministry of Defense,” the source told RIA Novosti.

Serbia is to be given two five-ton power generators, 10 high-capacity pumps, 10 mobile water tanks, 200 medium-volume thermoses and 50 large-volume ones.

In May, Serbia suffered from disastrous floods caused by continuous rain. Rivers have overflowed their banks and flooded vast areas of land. The disaster has killed 33 people, while another 32,000 have been moved away from the flooded areas. While the Serbian government has collected $15.8 million in donations, total damage from the floods is estimated at $1.9 billion.

Russian rescuers were in Serbia on May 16-26, evacuating around 3,000 people, including over 600 children.

REDLINE CROSSING 2.0

                        REDLINE CROSSING 2.0

It seems as though every summer there is a new red line crossed by a country and its  leader deemed to be a threat to the NWOs quest for global fascism,  monetary domination, Israeli expansion and exploitation.
Last summer the “red line crossed”  was Syria and Bashar al-Assad; this summer Russia and Vladimir Putin are on the agenda. Previous their was Lybia and Ghadaffi; Iraq and  Saddam Hussein; Milosevic in  Yugoslavia and Bin Laden/Mullah Omar  in  Afghanistan.
These wars and slaughters of aggression were conducted by NATO against non-nuclear states with impunity.  Having failed in Syria, in part due to Russian, Chinese  and Iranian/Hezbollah resistance, the NWO has now turned its venomous head ie.  US in Russia’s direction.
Too cowardly to war with Russia directly, NATO instead has installed a Nazi junta in Ukraine, using and expanding decades old animosities to wage its proxy war.  Provocations to lure Russia directly into the bloody conflict have failed.  Plans by NATO to takeover Crimea, Sevastopol and the Russian Black Sea Fleet naval facilities were stymied by the expressed will and self determination of the brave people who live there. After having viewed the junta as the viscous thugs that they are.  Within this backdrop of failure and frustration a new plan was hatched that included using mass media as a weapon.  Lets take a snapshot of a typical information barrage from NATOs poster boy Anders Fohgs Rasmussen

Rasmussen (NATO high command) -“we have lots of information that indicate separatists supported by Russians are guilty”. #MH17

Anders apparently is once again  referring to social media tweets and posts; stitched together with statements from the puppet regime in Kiev and off it goes to the press. NATO countries corporate sponsored magazines and newspapers – Time, Globe, Washington Times, NY Post, Newsweek, Enquirer  et al. employ vast numbers of cartoonists and writers with fond memories of the Cold War days and scare tactics featuring the red menace as a central theme.   These tabloid “news” organizations together with their complicit counterparts in television form a matrix of disinformation.
The corporate owned editors, journalists and associates   all hope to financially benefit from towing the NATO  line as well as keeping their jobs and  staying alive. Western journalists and others who write stories exposing the machinations of NATO become targets.  #Hastings
Fear mongering apparently is a required  course in western schools of journalism, as they  all in unison keep  repeating and repeating the NATO driven conspiracy theory, (Putin did it) with imminent Russian Army invasions and the reconstruction of the Soviet Union, complete with personal depictions of Vladimir Putin  as evil incarnate.   Much the same way as  was said and written about Syrias Bashar al-Assad  in last years redline crossing. #Syria 21_Aug._2013 Ghouta

Bogus  conjecture, lies, posts and tweets all  woven into a fear producing blanket production, with a comic book narrative. Perfect mk brainwashing for summertime pooltime reading, viewing and public topic!
So the “information” which the  Foghs of war  alludes to  is not actually credible; one such example were images having been presented by the SBU 30 July  as images from Ukrainian satellites, subsequent analysis has determined that the images were in fact made from a US satellite.
“At the time specified in the images, the American electro-optical reconnaissance satellite of the Key Hole series was flying over the crash site area.” These fraudulent images prove only one thing, desperation on the part of Kiev to shift blame and the unwillingness of US Space Command to admit ownership.
No, this “lots of information” which is all the feeble minded and fearful  western press needs to or is allowed to print, is nothing more than empty accusations, fanciful scenarios, speculations, downright lies, and  fraudulent photos all printed up, packaged and served back to mass medias poster boy  Anders to begin the fear  cycle anew.

Information carousel, round and round it goes, never having to present any facts backed up with credible evidence.

It is not necessary for the western  authorities  to present verifiable facts when the press does not even dare  ask, much less demand verifiable evidence to support the empire’s reckless and discredited accusations. The so called “free press”, long viewed   as a bulwark of democracy has been torn down and scrapped in favor of an authentic reproduction of an Orwellian propaganda machine.
In addition to serving up nonesense, the western press dutifully suppresses facts, eyewitness accounts and all evidence that implicates or holds responsible  the US installed regime in Kiev for the loss of 298 lives.
The latest storyline from the corrupted “investigators”, is that  the report on MH17 is scheduled to be released in Sept. 2014; unless that changes in favor of a hermetically sealed  time capsule to be opened in fifty years.
This late and unprecedented delay has been attributed to conditions on the ground at the scene of the crash,  and yet the sealed “black boxes” or  flight recorders were turned over by Novorossiya government officials  within days to  representatives from  Malaysia. The Ukrainian   air traffic control recordings have not been released, after the Ukrainian security services (SBU) seized them.

The myth perpetuated by the NATO stooges  (Putin did it) and repeated ad-nauseum by a subservient press  has been created.

By Sept. people in the west will have built their fairy-tale into a socially accepted premise which will be politically incorrect to dispute.  By Sept.   facts will be forgotten, and ignored.  The “report” will in no way detract or refute  the original spurious and unsubstantiated  accusations made by the fukus axis against Russia and Putin personally. These conclusions had been advanced and regurgitated  even  before the smoke had cleared or even basic facts known.
One thing is indisputable, a commercial airliner was directed to fly over a conflict zone (a dozen or more aircraft having been shot down between April 13 -July 17) which in and of itself constitutes a strong case for criminal negligence and a contributing factor for international flights to route avoiding Ukrainian airspace altogether.  It seems the traveling public has no desire to be under control of Ukraine ATC,  go figure!
This inconvienience (war zone sight seeing tour gone bad)  was originally explained as a necessity because of weather conditions, proven to be  disinformation  and yet not surprisingly, never retracted.
Previous statements from the junta in Kiev  had attempted to defend  MH17s peculiar and singular flight path
(previous 10 flights were in an air corridor 400 miles to the south) against these implications, by pointing out  that the independence fighters in SE Ukraine, aka pro-Russian  separtists are not in possession of surface to air missiles capable of bringing down an aircraft from that height.
Having to keep the story alive it was postulated that the Russians had shortly prior to July 17 moved a BUK-1  system into Ukraine. The “evidence” for this was a photo taken in a junta controlled town of a Ukr army BUK and tweeted out for the matrix to cite as proof.  Aircraft flying at high altitudes such as MH17 was are not currently being used for punitive bombing operations so it remains unclear why the militia would have need for the BUK much less the skills and technical expertise to operate the system.
The use and deployment of a complex SAM system which includes an IFF capability (IFF stands for identification friend or foe,   is an identification ability which distinguishes planes based on aviation transponders which intermittently emit an electronic signature) does not lend itself well to the theory of ad hoc in the field training.
Although the BUK system consists of four parts, each one integrated onto separate track vehicles which  includes  radar tracking and target acquisition separate from the actual missile delivery vehicle, mainstream media continues to portray the BUK as though it was nothing more than a simple single defensive  weapon and user friendly (perhaps operable with a smartphone app)  and  with a minimum amount of training required.
Why the Russian Defense Ministry would provide a sophisticated SAM system  and the training to the militia in addition to delivering it to an unstable conflict zone complete with personnel defies logic.A hare-brained scheme such as that would have to have been invented by those who once  mulled the possibility of arming  their proxy fighters  fsa/nusra  in Syria with SAMs.
Clearly the NATO / FUKUS  story was not intended to withstand critical analysis, which if it did arise would be ignored or attributed to “Russian propaganda”. All that was needed was to create a public perception in order to achieve the NWO goals.
1) The US got the sanctions that it wanted in order to drive a wedge between the EU vassal states and Russia.
2) NATO got an increased reason for its existence. 3) Western arms manufacturers and merchants got sales.
4) The Kiev junta got a 9/11 moment, to cast the separatists as terrorists and an increase in military aid with a pretext for the brutal and murderous assaults against the civilian population carried out by proxy against Russia in SE Ukraine.

5)  The MH17 tragedy was described by NATO as a “game changer”, a sort of redline moment.
Another redline had been crossed, this time in Ukraine. Yet again, another opportunity for the “international  community” to shriek their indignation and prepare for war.
6)  Fifteen minutes after the Malaysian MH17 crashed the Palestine occupiers aka Israel commenced a brutal campaign against Gaza which to date continues.
7) The EU did in fact in the words of Americas top diplomat and matron of maidan the distinguished  victoria nuland got “fuc*ed”.
8) Malaysia is home to an   international war crimes court already having found Israel guilty of war crimes. With all the drama and vast amount of television coverage of #MH17 there was reduced coverage and notice of Israels genocidal  pogrom in Gaza. So in effect MH17 provided a  geo-political smokescreen  while punishing Malaysia for “second guessing” the psycho and chief Nettybooboo.
As the world prepares for war with humanity, carbon based life  and the planet itself  put at risk, the criminally insane in washington and  tel-aviv develop plans for  nuclear first strike. What was once unthinkable has become an apocalyptic option.   The “chosen and exceptional people” have delusional plans for genocidal world conquest which  first requires that they lose any vestige of humanity.

rasmussen -The Pied Piper of Europe

Only with a reference from the mind of a fruit fly could NATO claim “long-standing ” ties with Ukraine.  rasmussen the Führer of NATO apparently has such a mind as he makes the bombastic claims as the unelected leader of western forces visited Kiev and received a medal from poroshenko for his help in covering up the Juntas war crimes.

image

Previously rasmussen had expanded the  NATO mission to include his self appointed arbitration of democratic elections, which  coming from someone who himself is totally beyond the bounds of democracy, is the height of cynicism.
Since before an investigation even began into MH17, rasmussen and his ilk rolled out a complex and pre-planned media blitz complete with a miraculous conclusion which some would conclude as a far fetched conspiracy theory or attribute to  clairvoyance, however it would suggest a far more sinister reason; a false flag operation in order to cast Putin as the devil incarnate.
The NATO interference into the MH17 investigation is observed by rasmussens constant repetition of guilt assigned to President Putin without the burden of having to produce even a shred of credible evidence.
The case of the mysterious Buk anti-aircraft surface to air radar missle system (four components- each one mounted on a large truck) and the technicians to operate it moving from Russia to Ukraine and back again at breakneck speed and stealth sounds like something from a sci-fi comic book and  is at best implausible.
Meant to produce momentum for European support of  sanctions this NATO  fortuitous (“game changer”) a tragedy to humanity #MH17 seems to have produced a herd mentality. (lemmings) Even the Neutral State of Switzerland changed course.
Occupied Germany the monetary HQ of the EU has been ordered by the cabal  to keep up pressure on reluctant EU member states after reminding the Swiss that their franc has been pegged to the Euro since 2011.  rasmussen deserves a medal?- yes, one for being the Pied Piper of the European Ratsunion as they sally forth behind his skillful  flute playing for their march to destiny.

Europe escaped the yoke of fascism in the 1940s only to see it reemerge unchallenged 70 years later.  NATO is the fascist military organization that was hitlers dream with a power to make myths from thin air.

#EU Military Supply Ban To Kiev Lifted #Complicity

Without military supply ban, EU responsible for bloodshed in Ukraine – Russia ForMin
POSTED

image

MOSCOW, August 2 (Itar-Tass) – Russia’s Foreign Ministry on Saturday accused the European Union of withdrawing a ban on supplying Ukraine with military technology and equipment “on the quiet.”

“During a recent meeting of the Council of Europe in Brussels, leaders of EU member states agreed ‘on the quiet’ to remove restrictions on exports to Kiev of equipment that could be used for internal repression,” the ministry said in a statement. “Exports of military technologies and equipment were also allowed.”

The ministry also called on the 28-nation EU not to be “goaded” by Washington over events in east Ukraine, where Ukrainian government forces are continuing a military operation.

The European Union’s decision to lift restrictions on exports of military equipment to Ukraine reflects double standards, the ministry said.

The restrictions were imposed by the EU Council on February 20 when Viktor Yanukovich was in power as president, and a tough confrontation continued between armed radical nationalists and factually unarmed police at Maidan in Kiev.
At the time, the European Union
believed it was not right to supply arms and military equipment for Yanukovich’s regime.

Now, despite current Kiev authorities’ military operation in the southeast of the country, the EU has decided to allow export of military equipment in full to Ukraine,

the ministry said.

It is clear why the EU keeps silent over irrefutable facts of shelling of Russia’s territory from Ukraine
“Prospects to feel own involvement in such actions perhaps creates some discomfort in Brussels.”

The decision does not only show double standards, but it is contrary to the EU rules of control over export of military technologies and equipment.
The rules were approved by the EU Council on December 8, 2008 and defined standards and a code of behavior as minimal requirements to regulate supply of military products. Point Three of the rules calls for giving no license for export of a military technology and equipment that can provoke or prolong an armed conflict or aggravate tension or a conflict in the country where it is used. Point Two stipulates that supplied arms must not be used for repressions in the country.

It is obvious that to achieve doubtful political goals, Brussels is ready not only to ignore how Kiev fulfils its international obligations, but also violate regulations of its own documents, the ministry said.
The Russian Foreign Ministry urged EU colleagues to follow sound logic, but not considerations of the situation and not to be “goaded” by Washington.
“A decision to ban supply of arms and special equipment to Ukraine was needed after the beginning of the “antiterrorist” operation in Donbass and the Lugansk regions. But it is not late now to resume the ban,” the ministry said, adding “Without it, the European Union’s responsibility for continuing bloodshed in the southeast of Ukraine will increase.”
